Frequently asked questions

Do all students present at SLC?

Not necessarily.  Objective-only events do not have a performance.  Some events have a prejudged component, like a report or a test, that determines the Top 10 that perform at SLC.

Am I required to stay in your hotels?

In order to ensure all chapters have rooms to sleep with all amenities, as well as to protect chapters under our Liability Insurance, chapters outside 60 miles from Springfield must stay in our approved properties.

Are there extra fees for activities?

With the exception of the Springfield Cardinals game, all activities are included in your registration rate.

Why do I have to complete a Consent Form for each student?

Consent forms protect you by ensuring you have all emergency information on file for your chapter, as well as ensuring parents understand how Missouri FBLA-PBL may use data and images of members.

Is there not Guide for members?

Missouri FBLA-PBL uses an mobile application for member guides.  Advisers still receive a paper Adviser Guide for SLC.
