Missouri FBLA-PBL Scholarships
Missouri FBLA-PBL offers four scholarships to students each year, to be presented at the State Leadership Conference. Scholarships promote the ideals of business and business education. Members must receive a letter of recommendation from their adviser, who must be an active dues paid member of the Missouri Business Education Association (MBEA).
Joanne Newcomer Scholarship
Joanne Newcomer served at the State Adviser from 1982-1988 before becoming State Chair until 2002. With such an expansive time frame of dedication to the organization, a scholarship was endowed in her honor.
Charles Newman Scholarship
Charles Newman, the State Director of Business and Office Education in 1968, was appointed the first ever State Chair of Missouri FBLA-PBL. The Missouri FBLA-PBL State Leadership Conference was organized under DESE control for the first time. This scholarship is in honor of the first State Chair.
I Believe Scholarship
In honor of the members and advisers we have lost since the creation of the Foundation Board in 2014, the I Believe Scholarship is a group memorial scholarship. Just as our mission lives on forever, so will the memory of these members.
Missouri Professional Division Scholarship
The Missouri Professional Division Scholarship is awarded to one FBLA and one PBL member. This member must be continuing their education in a Missouri college or university with a major in business or business education.
